Senior Designer, Special Projects.

Work with Producer and Client to create architecture, design interfaces, and execute design and layout solutions for online content.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and implement innovative approaches to web communication
  • Evaluate technical and design needs for client projects; recommend and execute appropriate solutions
  • Implement creative design techniques into projects, including graphic manipulation into different formats and styles
  • Program and code materials for web content
  • Maintain the look and uniformity of the art/design
  • Meet deadlines and goals in a timely manner
  • Execute site development/maintenance as assigned
  • Execute site-ready art
  • Interact with other team members to integrate design concepts into specific content areas
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements (the "technical stuff"):

  • Web design house or interactive advertising agency experience ideal Fine arts and computer graphics background Requires minimum of 5-7 years of experience in internet art production/graphic design which includes extensive knowledge of print and web Must be able to meet tight deadlines and lead creative staff Background in Photoshop 5.0, Image Ready 1.0, Illustrator 8.0, QuarkXPress 4.0, Fireworks Strong knowledge of HTML (BBEdit, Dreamweaver, or Homesite a plus) Experience with Javascript Working knowledge of new media graphic design concepts
  • Working knowledge of several technology platforms, browsers and several graphic design software packages
  • Understanding of the internet environment and development within this environment
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal, listening) Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task Attention to detail and accuracy Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and rapid change
